Other than Saban all those describe Spider-Man The Animated Series too.
I think adapting from the comics and the skill of the actors was a big factor on why that did as well as it did.
I always gave more credit to the writers than the acting. Barnes’s performance is fine but nothing special most episode. Mary Jane’s acting was awful.
When reading the Conway run I did hear it exclusively in Barnes’s voice, and that has to count for something.

Nice. I listened to the first two episodes, and they were great. Even went back and started watching Ulysses 31, which I hadn’t seen in 30 years. You’re not getting me to watch Speed Racer though. Never again.
Hmm, weird 90s action cartoon? I thought my knowledge of those was encyclopedic, somehow I don’t recall this one at all.
