Something I’ve always liked about the the myth and folklore from all over the Islands, the horror is just so commonplace. That makes it tangible, that turns superstitions into careful practice. That’s what keeps the monsters at bay.
Stay away from the edges of the waters, lest you be taken down, drowned and devoured…
In the dead of night stay away from the harmless lights, they lead only to death…
Lock your windows tight, lest something make its way to your child’s cradle…
