  1. I mostly have grudging knowledge of this franchise. I never cared for it, but my little brother was obsessed so it was on constantly.

  2. Nice episode, this was my jam back as a kid.

It’s actually a little amazing how big a franchise this became. With not only it’s own continuity but history and mythology within the franchise itself. Can’t wait for the next one!

  3. Hi Mr Sharpson! Sorry for the off-topic post, but I was at a bookstore last week(shout-out to Ink and Page Books in Overland Park) and my kiddo picked out your book ‘Don’t Trust Fish’ and absolutely fell in love with it. He’s read it over and over, and he insists that anybody who comes over has to read it immediately.

Anybody with pre-teen kids, check out ‘Don’t Trust Fish’, it rocks!

  4. I remember being rather sorry to miss the first UK broadcast of this series because I was on holiday abroad – I have some fond memories of watching the early incarnations of the show, but never became a long term devotee.

Also, please allow me to recommend ‘The Spy Who Rooked Me’ – an episode of GI JOE in which they basically team up with James Bond.

I mean a dashing, sartorially-exquisite British secret agent who possesses laser cufflinks, unflappable panache and a natty sports car but who is in no way, shape or form infringing upon the copyright of Bond, James Bond and is a completely different character (To the point of possessing a moustache worthy of Alfred Pennyworth and being a non-smoker in the days of Roger Moore).

The episode is freely available online and I found it quite amusing.
