  1. Hey Mouse. What happened to Cat’s Don’t Dance? The review won’t show up when I click the link in my email notification. It gives me an error message. I’ve tried to search for it across the site, but it seems to have totally disappeared. Help?

      1. Oh! Accidental public posting, eh? I’ve done it before. Good to know. I just was weirded out. At the least, know that the bit of it I read in the email notification was terrific!

      1. I had the idea that your reviews take place in front of a mini-sized desk, ontop of a life-size desk, and the reviews always end with you writing down the score on a seemingly-large post it note.

      2. or another idea, an expansion on the origin story that somehow ends with you ending up at my house, and me helping or whatever.

        you can pick either one

      3. Also I am sad to say that for the reviews I will not be doing an impression of your voice. Don’t get me wrong, I could do it near perfect, but Irish accents do a number on my throat apparently. I’ll just go with my normal voice.

  2. Just wondering are you still looking for donations in exchange for reviews? Got a good film I’d love to see you review, but I have a feeling you’d need a bit of money to watch it 😉

  3. Hey Mouse, have you ever heard of the tabletop RPG “Disney Villains Victorious”? If you ever want to branch out from your usual reviews, doing a campaign of that may be a good place to start considering the inexorable link between you and Disney.

Oh, and the Horned King is in it. Have fun!

      1. DVV is a good fit for you if you can find more players. It’s currently in progress on the /tg/ board of 4chan, and I’m sure you’re well-known enough to get in on some of the playtesting or just do a campaign with the people who frequent the board. I’m just getting into it myself.

  4. Darby O’ Gill and the Little People. I looked carefully and did not see it. It’s Disney. It’s awful. I triple dog dare you.

  5. Hi unshavedmouse! Someone did this rather amazing video last month, sort of in the style of fantasia, where they matched a bunch of clips from disney movies to a song. The scene transitions are phenomenal. A few of the comments praise the “masking” done; I have no idea what that is, but it’s clear that whoever made it put a lot of effort into it and the results were really good.

I was wondering if you’d seen it? If not, here the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-6xk4W6N20

    Curious to hear your thoughts.

  6. Hey unshavedmouse. A few years ago, I asked you if you could review Ice Age (2002), only if I was able to donate to one of your pages. Since you raised the necessary funds, is it still necessary I donate to it for you to review Ice Age? I’m willing to if you want me to.

  7. I looked up what it is. However, I have another idea for you. Maybe you could review the Blue Sky films as part of some sort of miniseries for now? There’s enough to last you about a month or so and I’m REALLY eager to hear your thoughts on Ice Age.

    1. Thank you, my friend, that did the trick. Especially looking forward to your future MCU and X-Men reviews.

      Cheers,

      Bill

  8. Yo Mouse. There’s something that’s been on my mind for a while regarding the whole #MeToo movement: should movies and TV shows with actors/directors/whatever who are guilty of sexual misconduct be (to borrow a quote from your Song of the South review) “sealed away, never to be seen by human eyes again”, or could they still be watched but without forgetting the actions of the people behind them? (Sorry if I worded this a bit awkwardly.)

      1. Oh, not in ranked order, just to see a list of all the reviews on one page (without browsing through the reader request tag.)

  9. Out of curiousity, have you seen any of the French animated series “Wakfu?” From what I’ve heard, the main villain of the first season is apparently one of the greatest villains to appear in an animated series ever.

  10. Come on Mouse, give me the deets, how much do I gotta pay you to review Ralph Bakshi’s 90’s film Cool World? Seems like a prime target for some mousy criticisms!

  11. Comparing our respective efforts to contextualize “Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings” made me curious: Did the likes of “Crazy Rich Asians” and “Parasite” make as big a splash in Ireland as they did in the US? I’m not posing this question in the comments for your “Shang-Chi” review because I don’t like posting too many comments on the same article.

  12. Mouse, I’m finally doing it. I’ve just sat down and begun taking my beginning notes on a film I want to recap, the first I’ll have ever written. This is something that’s been simmering inside me for many years and your blog has been a huge source of continued inspiration encouraging me to stop dicking around and just do the damn thing. I don’t expect it to make me any money or get me a bunch of fans (we can’t all be as charming and silky-furred as yourself) but I want to do it just because…well…I want to! And maybe by saying it here, knowing you and others will see my declaration of action, maybe I can hold myself accountable enough to see it through and be able to say “hey, Moth, you finally did the thing! Who’d of thunk it?” So thank you for continuing to do what you do, and for providing such a lovely corner of the internet for flittery insects like myself. Keep on mousin’!

  13. I don’t know if I’m double posting, but:

After Disney+ posted the Marvel One-Shots that never came to DVD, did you finally watch any of them? I’ve seen all of them already.
